Biography

Dutch born artist Jan van Naeltwijck begins his career in France. After art studies in Nice ( south of France ), he dedicates his life to studying Nature and especially animals. His models are the Chinees erudits and those of the Renaissance who were painters, musicians, philosophers, architects, mathematicians, ...

He exhibits since 1981 and travels mainly in Africa and Asia.

In 2007 a fire destroys his entire studio.
